After completely dominating in 2023, Toto Wolff believes that Red Bull will continue to do so in the upcoming season.
Red Bull one every single race last year, except for the Singapore GP, which saw Carlos Sainz take the win. Mercedes team principal believes that thanks to their dominance, Red Bull has started developing the 2024 challenger way before other rivals. That is why he has “no doubt” that the Milton Keynes-based outfit will still have a huge advantage this year.
“I have no doubt that they have stopped the development of the current [last year] car early, and they will be very strong next season.
“But we are going to give it all to push very hard and try to be part of the nice racing at the front.”
Finally, he also added that does not mean Mercedes will not try to fight them for the championship, saying that they will push hard to close the gap.
“We want to give it everything to have a fair shot.”
