The Los Angeles Lakers are going through a difficult moment this season, losing eight of their last ten games. As a result, the situation in the locker room is not the best, and Austin Reaves confirmed that to Jovan Buha.
The latter, an NBA reporter covering the Lakers, posted a comment on his X profile released by Austin Reaves after the Laker’s last game, which underlined that the environment inside the team is not the best.
“Shitty. We’re losing,” was Austin Reave’s comment on the current situation.
Not only that, Buha also reported that LeBron James left after the game without talking to the reporters. That is another sign that the situation is not idyllic in Los Angeles.
Further reports by Buha and Shams Charania, Senior lead NBA Insider for The Athletic and Stadium, suggest that “there’s currently a growing disconnect between Darvin Ham and [the] Lakers locker room stemming from disjointedness around rotation and adjustments.”
Despite winning the In Season Tournament, the Lakers are only 17-18. Their next game will be against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, January 5th.
