The Golden State Warriors will be facing a difficult period since their guard Chris Paul has fractured his left hand and will require surgery.

His absence means the Warriors need to find someone who will substitute for him while he sits on the sideline to recover. Likely, the rookies Brandin Podziemski and Cory Joseph will get more playing time and responsibilities. Moses Moody will also get back in the rotations.

Chris Paul left the game in the third quarter against the Pistons on Friday night. His teammate, Steph Curry, said that he feels bad for CP, but ensured that the team will keep working to find the right chemistry and keep pushing.

“I feel bad for him. I know he’s been through some hand stuff in his career. We’re trying to find our groove as a team, our chemistry, and continue to build that and work through some of the kinks in the lineups, and he’s such a huge part of that and has been all season.

“So I don’t know how long he’ll be out, but I just feel for him personally. He does such an amazing job of taking care of his body, preparing himself day in and day out.”
