In the duel of the two best teams in the Western Conference of the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard won at home over the leader Minnesota Timberwolves 102-97, supported by an outstanding performance by Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, responsible for 33 points and six assists at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Thunder, winners of the ring in 2012, overturned a nine-point deficit in the final six minutes, added their second victory in a row and were just one shy of reaching the Timberwolves’ number of wins (30) in the season.

Center Chet Holmgren (15 points), forward Jalen Williams (20) and power forward Luguentz Dort also finished with double-digit scoring for the winning team.

In Detroit, Damian Lillard scored a season-high 45 points to secure the Milwaukee Bucks’ 141-135 victory over the Pistons.

The point guard from the Portland Trail Blazers also added 11 assists, made his 16 free throws and converted 5 triples.
