Dacia has unveiled its brand-new 2025 car that will compete in next year’s Dakar Rally.
The name is Dacia Sandrider, and it is going to be driven by Nasser Al-Attiyah, Sebastien Loeb, and Cristina Gutierrez. During the presentation, the team also revealed that it will compete in the whole season of the World Rally-Raid Championship in 2025.
Prodrive helped Dacia during the car’s construction and design, introducing extremely innovative systems. Not only that, some drivers’ ideas were also very important during the car’s development.
The first time that team will compete will be in October, at the Morocco Rally. That will serve as a preparation for the Dakar, a competition which Dacia aims to compete in at least until 2027.
The team manager will be Tiphanie Isnard, who already has a lot of experience in the Dakar. Philip Dunabin will be the technical director.
