Joel Embiid was forced to leave the court last night against the Golden State Warriors after an apparent injury to his knee.

As the game was coming to an end, Jonathan Kuminga landed on Embiid’s knee. The latter immediately seemed hurt, and he left the game. The 76ers coach Nick Nurse later said in an interview that “they’re going to do an MRI tonight or tomorrow [speaking about his player].”

“So he’s obviously got landed on, so they’re going to do an MRI tonight or tomorrow.”

Embiid already had some issues with his knee, and due to soreness, he missed the previous two games against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Denver Nuggets. The 76ers always struggle without Embiid as a starter, and they surely hope to have him back as soon as possible.
