The “Visa CashApp RB F1 Team” has officially launched, unveiling its Formula 1 challenger for the 2024 season.
The team was previously known as AlphaTauri, which was previously known as Toro Rosso.
Red Bull has decided to keep rebranding its second team in the sport to reflect new ventures and partnerships.
AlphaTauri was meant to represent the brand’s luxury clothing line, and the team ran under the name from 2020 to 2023.
However, the Faenza-based squad faced another rename this year to reflect a “new vision” and a title sponsorship from Visa, thus the name of “Visa CashApp RB F1 Team.”
RB stands for Racing Bulls.
The launch happened in luxurious Las Vegas, where the Grand Prix will take place on November 21-24.
Las Vegas is the third race in the calendar that’s held in the United States. F1 experienced impressive growth in the market, especially after the launch of the “Drive to Survive” series on Netflix.
