Red Bull Racing, the powerhouse team that has dominated the Formula 1 world in previous seasons, is set to continue its reign with the launch of their new car, the RB20.
The team’s performance in 2023 was nothing short of spectacular, winning 21 out of 22 races and showcasing their superiority in the sport.
The RB20 builds upon the success of its predecessor, the RB18 from 2022, and embodies the team’s commitment to innovation and excellence. The car was unveiled to the public in Milton Keynes, at the Red Bull Technology Campus with a ceremony that was very much on brand for the Austrian team.
At the unveiling we could find new faces of the Red Bull family, like Hamda Al Qubaisi and Emely De Heus, who are now part of the Red Bull Academy Programme and some well known figures of the team, like Christian Horner, Adrian Newey, and David Coulthard, among others.
With Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez leading the team’s charge as the star drivers, the reigning Constructors’ World Champions expect to continue their streak of success with this formidable duo on the track.
In a humorous turn of events, Verstappen inadvertently revealed during a Team Redline stream that the RB20 bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the RB19. This led to playful comparisons between Verstappen and the actor Tom Holland, known for his tendency to accidentally reveal spoilers.
The livery of the RB20 was leaked online on February 12 after the team’s shakedown at the Silverstone circuit, giving fans a sneak peek at what to expect on the track.
With the RB20, Red Bull Racing aims to maintain its position at the forefront of Formula 1 and continue its legacy of success in the 2024 season.
