The woman who accused team principal Christian Horner of ‘inappropriate behavior’ has been suspended by Red Bull, BBC reports.
An investigation was launched against Horner in January for ‘sexual misconduct’, but an independent barrister cleared him of any wrongdoing.
Then, during the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, a Google Drive folder was emailed to F1 and team representatives as well as journalists, including Action Sports Network, containing unverified screenshots and images allegedly reviewed in the investigation.
Now, the BBC reports that the female employee which reported Horner has been suspended by the organization.
“The company cannot comment on this internal matter,” a spokesperson cited by the BBC said.
Red Bull had said that the employee had the right to appeal the decision made by the independent investigation, whose name has not been revealed, neither the process in which the investigation has been conducted.
It is unclear if the complainant will file a legal case against the organization.
