On the brink of the Miami GP, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz has noted that all options for the 2025 season are still ‘on the table’.
Spaniard is currently linked with seats at Red Bull, Mercedes, and Sauber, who will fully become the Audi factory team in 2026.
3-time Grand Prix winner rejected rumors made by Spanish press that he decided to reject Audi’s lucrative deal that would see him as a leader of the team.
“The only assurance that I have is from myself that I want to take the right decision.”
âThatâs why itâs also taking a bit longer and thatâs why I want to see all the options available before taking any fundamental decision.” – the departing Ferrari’s driver had reiterated.
Following the news of Audi’s takeover of the Hinwill-based legendary Swiss name of Sauber, Carlos Sainz was immediately inserted into the forefront as one of the potential acquisitions of the German team.
Sainz has also congratulated HĂźlkenberg on a successful transfer for the upcoming 2025 season and has dubbed German as a ‘talented and great driver’ whose role would be of great service.
Moreover, Sainz mentioned how ‘things should not be rushed and how all possible options need to be evaluated clearly and in detail.’
