Ferrari will cover 200 km on its test track in Fiorano with the SF-24. The car will feature the new, awaited upgrades that the Italian team plans to introduce in Imola.

Formu1a.uno has reported that the Scuderia wants to test the new parts on track before the Emilia Romagna GP. So far, the new package has been developed and tested only in the virtual world, therefore, Ferrari wants to be sure that the virtual data and the real-life data match.

The test will be on Thursday and Friday, May 9th and 10th. Both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will be driving the SF-24 2.0.

With the new, modern rules, private in-season testing are prohibited, but every team can cover up to 200 km for filming days twice a year. That is why Ferrari is allowed to test the new parts, which can prove to be crucial for the 2024 title fight against Red Bull, and maybe, even McLaren.
