When the Action Sports Network was founded, it was many things before it became what it is today. And its first ambitious project was the Pole Position Magazine.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
When ASN was founded, it was nothing more than a simple social media profile sharing regular updates about Formula 1. However, we wanted more than that, and so we got to work: on February of 2020, right before the Coronavirus pandemic, a new project was born.
Partnerships were made and writers were recruited, although no one knew what for until the end of April of that same year, when the first issue of the Pole Position Magazine was launched.
ASN’s ambition with Pole Position was to release a monthly-issued magazine covering the world of motorsport – not only F1, but also IndyCar, NASCAR, and other series.
The entire team -made of hobbyists and journalism enthusiasts, none of them were professionals- worked hard through the year and released a total of six editions, with the last one being a season-recap in December of 2020.
After the Magazine concluded, ASN focused its resources on its website.
