United States GP Sprint winner Max Verstappen said his victory around the Circuit of The Americas was “like old times.”

Verstappen started the race from Pole and dominated the entire session, claiming his 11th Sprint victory, out of the 16 total in F1 history.

The Dutch driver, in the post-race interview, said the race was “not too bad, it feels a bit like old times!”

“I am very happy with today, if you look at the whole race Ferrari was also very quick but for us, finally, we were racing again.”

Verstappen praised Red Bull for their performance at COTA, saying that “normally in the race we are always looking back, but now we could do our own race. We had good pace.”
