Not the best Christmas day for Nugget’s forward Aaron Gordon, as a dog injured his hand and face after biting the NBA player.
The team confirmed on X that Gordon is doing well, but will remain away from the team while he recovers. It is also understood that the dog bit his face as well as his hand, resulting in 21 stitches needed to repair the damage.
Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports also commented on X, saying that he does not believe that Gordon will stay away from the court for a long time. “I’d say more along the lines of a couple of weeks,” he said in his post.
The absence of Gordon should not be much of an issue for Denver, considering the depth of their bench. Therefore, they will give him time to recover and hope to have him back as soon as possible.
