October 12, 2019 – that’s the date Action Sports Network was born. Five years later, we’re still at it.

It was a rainy night in Buenos Aires when Action Sports Network (aka ASN) was born in the bedroom of a bored high-school student who happened to like Formula 1.

What began as a very basic Instagram account that posted regular updates on motorsports, quickly evolved into an all-out media outlet with magazines, podcasts, video content and a fully-featured website.

As we celebrate 5 years of ASN, we want to take a momento to express our deepest gratitude. To our incredible community of followers and readers, friends, and partners – thank you for your support, your passion, and your trust in us. You’ve been with us every step of the way, helping us grow and pushing us to be better.

Here’s to the future, to bigger dreams, and to continuing to bring the thrill of action sports to life. The journey is just getting started.

At ASN, we don’t just follow the action – we bring it the action to life.

A FEW WORDS

Luciano Calamante, Chief Executive at Calamante Group: When we first started Action Sports Network back in 2019, we never expected it to grow to the point it did and to achieve what we achieved in the last 5 years. I want to thank everyone who contributed to ASN’s success, past and present. And, of course, to our readers and followers who place their trust in the quality news we deliver from the sports we love.

Davide Bini, Director at Action Sports Network: I can say I’m fortunate enough to be part of ASN for the fifth year in a row now. Back then, I loved motorsports and I wanted to challenge myself, hence I texted Luciano to have more information. He immediately welcomed me onboard. Fast forward a few months and our first monthly issue was made public. Since then, it has been an incredible adventure full of ups – and downs as well – which helped me thrive and grow a lot. After five years, the journey continues. People have changed, our lives did too, but the passion remains the same and ASN lives on.

Robert Slipac, Editor at Action Sports Network: Working at Action Sports Network enabled me to pursue my childhood dream: writing and commenting on my favorite sport, Formula 1. Therefore, ASN represents a ‘land of opportunity’ for me, not only because it let me fulfill my passion but also because it helps me grow professionally. Albeit I’ve been a part of ASN for less than a year, I would like to point out an immensely positive working environment characterized by a family atmosphere with a lot of understanding, empathy, patience and teamwork, all thanks to the great people that are part of the crew. If I were to start from zero, I would pick Action Sports Network again.
