The Action Sports Network (ASN – https://actionsports.network/) is a media company providing news and entertainment content from the world of sports, specially Formula 1 and the National Basketball Association.

Our history

The ASN was founded on October of 2019 as a social media channel providing news content from the world of Formula 1.

Fast forward to March of 2020, and with the pandemic already forcing the world into a long quarantine, ASN launched a fully-featured, monthly magazine named “Pole Position” that covered the world of motorsport, including F1 but also NASCAR, IndyCar, and the World Endurance Championship.

The magazine launched its final issue on December 22 of 2020, and the team moved on with a new, exciting launch: the website.

ASN began covering motorsport news online through the “Medium” blogging platform, but quickly realized that the limited technical and personalization options offered by the American company wouldn’t be of help if the team wanted to explore new ways of coverage later on.

That’s why on February of 2021 the official ASN Motorsports website was launched, running on WordPress. Its first-ever coverage was of NASCAR’s Daytona 500. The team had been officially accredited, and had all hands working on the project, attending press conferences with well-known personalities, and performing exclusive interviews to them.

Since then, the ASN team has focused its efforts on providing high-quality content for its website and social media channels.

On top of offering excellent coverage of F1 and NBA, the ASN has also covered the FIFA World Cup, achieving remarkable results online, regularly placing itself on top of searches by reporting key moments from all matches.
